In December S/V Flippers crew (less Bimbi and Bombo "the hermit crabs" who
were left with good friends) took a field trip to visit Phil's family in Connecticut.
Katherine had a great time sledding down the back of her uncle Steven and aunt
Michelle's back yard. Down hill passes included "sled-bys" close to the duty
photographer (Monica). One down hill pass was too close and took Monica out at
the knees.... Everyone has recovered.
We had a wonderful time staying at Phil's Dads place. Dad is quite a trooper to
allow a three year old who does not currently go to sleep until after midnight, to
share his home.
Christmas Eve we met with Phil's brother, sisters and their families at his brothers
house to share current events, old stories, and the holiday spirit.
Christmas day Santa, Grandpa, and Aunts and Uncles were so good to Katherine
Lucia that see received more toys than her berth on Flipper can hold.....
